Locating
the Adelaide Model Aerosport Flying Field
On the freeway from Adelaide,
take the Monarto exit. Go north for approximately
2km passing over a train line until you arrive
at a cross road. Turn right onto the Old Mount
Barker - Murray Bridge road. In approximately
1minute you will cross two train lines and the
flying field is approximately 1.5km on the left
after the last train crossing. There is a sign
posted at the entrance.
OR
On the
freeway from Adelaide, take the Callington exit.
Go north for 2km to the T-Junction and turn right
on the old Mount Barker - Murray Bridge Road. In
approx. 8km, you will cross a railway line. About
2km further on, you will pass the Monarto Open Plains
Zoo (also worth a visit) and then a second railway
crossing . The Flying Field is approximately a further
1.5km on the left. There is a sign post at the entrance.
Total travelling time from Adelaide is about 45
minutes.
